Abraham vs Dirrell: Can Andre Outhustle "King" Arthur?

If Abraham doent start getting off faster and more activity, he will lose a UD to Dirrel!!!

Although I picked Abraham to win this tourney, tonite he showed much vulnerability. While I think he would KO a guy like Froch, I think a guy like Dirrell who would outwork him and outpunch him would force him to stay in his defensive shell for most of the fight. I think Dirrell presents major problems for Abraham if he doesn't change something during training. If that fight is not in Germany, Dirrell is a very live dog. In Germany, you hope the judges will be fair. It seems that Abraham is becoming too complacent. He is expecting the one-punch KO in every fight now and may not always get it. Am I the only person on this site that had JT winning close until the 12th round?

AA has started to use his left for body shots. Once Dirrell gets tagged with one he'll embarrass himself by running. Then it will be just a matter of time. AA throws with a fair amount of speed and can change the angle of his punches at will so Andre will not be able to juke him like he did Carl.

This is a fight that I would favor Dirrell, Dirrell is a much more smarter boxer than Taylor and more technically schooled. Easy UD for Dirrell.

Abraham has a good style to beat Dirrell. I was very impressed by him against Taylor - I thought he executed his plan perfectly. He really didn't get hit too much despite all those jabs Taylor was throwing. And when it was time he let his hands go. I think he's a little heavier handed than Froch and may have a better sense of timing. He will be very difficult for Dirrell to beat.

i thought dirrell won last night it was close though. but i think he runs too much u have to fight. when he stood in trade froch was backing up. andre dirrell was quicker had better technique. if he was in us he would have got the decision. but froch is tough i like him he did would he could do and got the decison. i think froch is a real champion hes beatan jean pascal, ko jermaine taylor and now hes beaten a olympic bronze medalist in the first round of the super 6! wow. say what you want but thats not easy. he gets my respect. you can tell he wants to be great and thats what this sport is all about.

Abraham can be hit by hooks, his defense is a straight up gaurd that can be got around by crooked punches.

An example would be how Williams put it on Winky.

Winky was also 38 and does't have strength like AA.

I`m telling telling ya`ll Dirrel would win this fight easier then ya`ll think.Abraham is to conservative and flat footed.Dirrel is faster,busier,very allusive,and more versatile then Abraham and Jermain Taylor.


Ya`ll letting the fact that Abraham won against a washed up Taylor who was never all that to begin with.

Yeah, he does have the right style. Abraham made me a believer but I still think Dirrell will outwork him and this time DIRRELL IS NOT GOING TO PLAY AROUND. He'll handle his business.

abraham is heavy handed and can take a punch,i don't care how much dirrell moves and how fast he is,arthur will connect a couple of punches per round and slow him down,then ko him,hard punches will slow you down

Abraham will only catch him if he throws those wild punches and that's going to make him miss with a guy like Dirrell. Why does everyone compare Dirrell to Taylor without even noticing it.
