Any time we can have interesting and compelling fights is a good thing. It's not often we get cross-promotional bouts between contending fighters so I always look forward to that.

I've been a bit underwhelmed by the PBC cards of late. Hopefully an injection of talent from Top Rank's stable can get better matchups and fight cards for the fans.

I have a painting of enslaved Africans in the 1700s picking cotton in the deep south and beneath it the caption reads "On their shoulders we stand" and I kiss that painting everyday to show them my appreciation for what they went through. I don't run from that like you run from yours little pequeno. No matter how much you want to be a European Conquistador you're not. You are an indigenous native who's probably darkskin, wide nose and 4'11 (strawweight) and you should embrace it and not run from it. And furthermore I can guarantee you are one of those THR-ump supporters that voted for your own demise. You might want to tell him that California is your land so he will stop kicking everyone out!
Lmao...to ASSume makes YOU an @ss, not me.
Talk about ignorant. 5'10, 200, brown n proud. Fcuk Trump. You can kiss a painting all you want but you have no history of people from your motherland. This IS my motherland, puto and i know mine!

as for Turki, best thing as for him to come around. He’s destroyed matchroom, turned it into a second rate promotion and displayed how unprofitable it is in the USA, and is a big reason American boxing will now flourish. Bless him.
I dont take away any contributions from others, you're projecting. My Father was a Vietnam vet and his dad ww2 vet, both R.I.P.

turki came out putting huge quality cards yet people hate lol...I don't gaf what or how many ppv sales. I care about the best fights happening. Tr and pbc are only doing this NOW cause turki forced their hand. Pbc could've done this for the last 10 years but hatmon chose not to. Tr didn't have hbo any more so they're s.hit outta luck. Both are looking up at Turki now. I couldn't care less about matchroom either. Turki payed handsomely, fighters from all those promotions to be on his card. I don't gaf if it's in the middle of the day either. Grew up watching wide world of sports on Sunday afternoon.

Whereas Tank has a history of pulling up fighters from 130 and stopping them rather than, say unifying at 135.

Nobody gave Fulton at 122 criticism for fighting Inoue when he moved up. That was because INoue was THE CHAMP at 118 - he had cleared that division out. Nobody gave Bivol crap at 175 when Canelo moved up because Canelo had cleaned out 168.

I do think Loma is diminished in the sense that he is a long way past his prime. I do think it would have been a competitive fight 4 /5 years ago but the issue was that it would have been 50-50 or maybe 45-55 in Loma's favour and THAT was why it didn't happen.
Fulton was elevated by fans because he was fighting Inoue. Bivol wasn’t given a lot of credit prior to Canelo.

My point is too many posters judge the opponent based on how they feel about the a side fighter. That is so weak imo.

Loma was fine against Haney. He just lost. I don’t think it would’ve been competitive. That is why so many wanted it then.

If you notice, the same group of posters ( not you) that says Loma beat Haney said he was diminished or shot when they thought he was going to fight Tank.

They just want Tank to lose. Cool but don’t arbitrarily switch on Loma being shot just because you think he might lose if he fights Tank now.

              He's actually 93 and 3 months old - born 31 Dec 1931.

This last year he has flown toJapan, Australia and the UK as well as the east coast of USA from his Las Vegas base. Now I'm sure he flies at least business class and likely first class but it doesn't matter what class you fly you still suffer jet lag. I've just got back on a 12 hour flight from China to London - any my body is saying "Biorhythms? What biorhythms?"

Arum, love him or hate him - has an extremely impressive work ethic. I believe that its the VERY FACT that he is still working, and with mostly very young people, that keeps him so vibrant. A lesson for all of us.

And, btw, Don King is now 93 and 7 months old - still promoting, albeit on a lesser scale than Arum.

Perhaps THAT is what keeps them alive - each of them wants to have the last word over the other!

I’m not mad at that but no way will Adames or Lara step up to fight Janibek (unless forced and probably relinquish belt first). Janibek is an incredible monster and nobody even utters his name. Next in line if avoiding the boogeyman and rightly so.
