If not an April fool’s joke , this ^^^^^^ might just be the reason
I recall her having overwhelming power on Nonito

Obviously he needs the money otherwise he would not be talking nonsense like this.

Nonito has had a great career and I have enjoyed watching his fights. That left hook was out of this world, but he was kind of a weight bully for a long time until he went up too much in weight and started fighting guys his own size. I remember watching his fight fight with Vic Darchinyan live and could not believe when I saw the two guys in the ring just before the fight. Nonito looked like Vic's daddy. It was kind of like watching Keyshawn fight Berinchuk - the two guys did not belong in the same ring and looked to be two weight divisions apart.

By the way, the same could be said for Devin Haney until the Garcia fight. He always looked two weight divisions bigger than his opponents. I don't know how these guys do it, but obviously there are some incredible drugs that let you shrink down to nothingness and them pump back up overnight ... or they are genetic freaks and the weight loss and weight gain is their superpower. Except, I don't believe in superpowers.

he is just trying to turn a buck, his old lady is most likely pushing him out the door and into the ring for a another shot as bringing home some more cash.....................Maybe there would be some interest if he fought her in the future...............

Forget it Nonito. Your time at the top has passed. Have fun training fighters , but stay out of the ring for your own sake. Father Time is undefeated and he will beat you again too.

You are right. Not only that I wouldn't be surprised if she is balling his promoter behind his back just to keep him active and still fighting

Weight bullies are eventually exposed [See: Antonio Margarito, Jeff Lacy, Errol Spence Jr.]

Nope. Rachel said she invested his money wisely and they have residual income from several businesses.
