just stop it!!! donaire had the potential like 10 years ago!! IF he woulda got serious and got with a real trainer.... instead, he wasted his prime year with his pops... i have no issues with his pops, but sometimes, if you wanna be great, you have to get a real trainer with proven experience.

I am a huge Donaire fan. He will get splattered again. The Monster has seen him twice and knows how to fight him, he is a smart fighter that exploits any openings. Nonito won't have the reflexes or the durability at his age.

Donaire should stay out of boxing at his age and with what other gigs he can get such as commentating. Granted, I didn't care much for his commentating the last event I watched where it involved a Filipino. He talks too much like a fanboy and I honestly would prefer more blow by blow or technical aspects to be given, considering he's been in there and knows best.

That said, Donaire is old school and these new age fighters can't hold a candle to Donaire's fighting mentality. He truly wants the best, even after being ktfo against Inoue in their second fight. Even at 42, he would rather take on the monster again, knowing very well what he's capable of, than fight mediocre guys that have no meaning. Of course a nice paycheck is involved with that, but it's a paycheck that has to come with a lot of thought. Again, he's already been ktfo by Inoue in their last encounter so he very well knows what can happen again. His age involved, the risks involved. It's all there, but yet he would rather take that challenge.

Meanwhile you got guys right now that are in their primes and within 2-3 years apart that avoid each other like the plague and talk trash on social media to each other. Manly men are truly dying as we move forward in times.
