You just exposed yourself as a casual. Real fans know that you don't go by just age but by recent form, Narvaez was on an 8-fight winning streak since losing to Donaire at 118, and 11 title defenses total at 115. Another indicator is what the fighter did afterwards, and Narvaez won his next 5 fights after losing to Inoue. Also, that his only KO loss. Name another fighter who moved up 2 weight classes with under 10 fights and destroyed a long time reigning champ. Should be easy since you're laughing.Last edited by Light_Speed; 03-30-2025, 07:37 AM.Comment

Yeah, let’s just ignore that Narvaez was almost 40.
Meanwhile I’ve seen Inoue fans trying to hate on Bam Rodriguez beating Sor Rungvisai, Cuadras, and Gallo Estrada because they were old.
It’s that hypocrisy and double standards that people dislike about you guys.Comment

Inoue will never get the respect he deserves. He cleans out two of the best divisions in boxing and still gets people saying nonsense about his competition level due to fighters cancelling on him and him fighting the best opponent available on short notice. When he beat Narvaez in 2014 it was moving up 2 divisions and beating a guy with a better championship pedigree than BHop, and did it in 2 rounds. That win alone is better than any victory any active champion has. I’m not even an Inoue fan. I’m much more of a Nakatani fan, but denying Inoue’s greatness is just insane.Comment
