Zepeda was supposed to fight Shakur when he ended up with a hand injusry
Plus all the chatter of him getting a gift vs Farmer so to say , so he’s gonna right that wrong tomorrow
I'm hoping that he faces Shakur after his rematch with Farmer which imo , not many boxers have the balls to rematch a guy who gave you a tough fight

Oscar De La Hoya says WBC interim lightweight champion William Zepeda will face Shakur Stevenson for the full title if he beats Tevin Farmer in their rematch on March 29.

I had Zep barely - BAAAAARELY - edging the first fight. It was razor close.

I suspect Zep is going to turn up the heat to clear the air, as it were, but not discounting what Farmer might have in store either.

      Can't wait.

This is a good fight but now its a 12 rounder instead of 10. Can farmer keep up the moving for that long?

Don't think so.. Stevenson didn't look that good in his last outing, and he is quite boring sometimes, but if a guy comes at him like Zapeda does, then Shakur does what he does best: counterpunch with efficiency.

I get it Stevenson is class no doubt but I'm not convinced he's top class at 135 like he was at 130 and 126. I got Zepeda if it happens next

It's boxing, so pretty much anything can happen (although it usually doesn't). But I did not like the way Zapeda looked against an old Farmer. His volume overshadows the fact that he is quite limited skillwise. For that reason I think Shakur will take advantage of that and pick him apart slowly till the KO.
