we wont know the answer to this Q until the leaves are starting to fall off the trees i guess and even further down the line if canelo wants to try some sort of revenge fight (i dont see this happening as i think he has no shot at winning it) but bringing bivol to 168 is his best shot at it and bivol wants this he has said several times so idk really it could be awhile or else he might sign up for the benny fight after the beter fight or maybe just maybe beter wins it and throws a big spanner in the works, unlikely again u would think but not impossible by any means but the guy is do great for his age anyway i think

Let’s call a spade a spade… Is Bivol “ducking” Benavidez?

He deserves fans
When I spoke to Benavidez the first thing he said was did I like the Gvozdyk fight
a friendly fighter with a business savvy mind
Benavidez original plan was to beat Alvarez, rematch him, and become a star from there

I believe it’s hard balling from his promoter to get as much as they can from the Saudis
Bivol-Artur 3 with Benavidez-Callum on the undercard
this is as close as it gets to a guarantee for winner faces winner

It is not unlikely. If Canelo wants Bivol reamch, he will get it.

he went from great against lighter lower level opponents at 168
to good at 175 where the opponents are his size
200 is predominantly oversized guys who aren’t good. The skill levels could work in Benavidez favor
Benavidez has a big back and looks bigger than every opponent on television
offline he’s a slim tall mexican

it would be shocking if benny had to go to cruiser to get big fights! really shocking hes unlucky the guy at 168 is canelo whos fear can be felt thousands of miles away now hes landed in the middle of the 2 top dogs in the division who looked at each other for a few years and turki came along and paid them what they wanted so he now has to wait until that plays out unfortunately for him, he might get his shot at the top dog after its decided or else his nemesis canelo might jump in front of him again and tempt the top dog if its bivol away for a rematch with him first, i i dont think this will happen as canelo is so risk averse now i cant see him taking that fight even if bivol drains down to 168 for it
