He certainly has the money to pay way more than PBC, but I was shocked to learn that Bivol only made $2.7 million for the rematch, and that PBC is offering Bivol $8 million to fight Benavidez.. I heard it from Sulaiman's own mouth.

The Bivol pay talk starts at around 18 minutes and 40 seconds but the whole podcast segment is very informative. The only reason why I would believe Sulaiman knows the dollar figures is because his organization would get a cut of the money...

I do agree with you that Benavidez seems to be overrated due to Ginger avoiding him, but I have to give him credit for giving or trying to give fans an entertaining fight. His fanbase is latin and latins want their fighters to trade punches...
