Scull got a hometown gift in his only fight against anybody even at the fringe of the world level (Shishkin). This guy is even less battle tested than Berlanga was, and that's saying something.

Maybe not, Kov maybe, the thing is David is not only big he is at the top of his game, its obvious Canelos team doesn't think he can beat David, size has a lot to do with it, but it is not only size, same reasons TC wants Canelo, size, being at the end of his career etc TC is not about fighting at 168 its all about Canelo who if you wanted to say his best weight is really a MW at most, look at Canelo beside Scull he is small at the weight.

I'm not saying that it's likely, just that stuff like that happens in boxing. I hope that it doesn't though. I want to see if Crawford can beat Canelo.

It would be even more shocking than Kambosos over Lopez or Surace over Munguia. Even if Canelo suddenly looks washed, I just can't see this one.

Crawford can't even beat Bumlanga. Couldn't stop or hurt a 154 Amateur.

I respect Crawford but he will lose. Probably by a stoppage. Canelo is not shot enough to lose to 38 old welterweight.

Neither of them are Canelo and styles creates all different variables, you might want to dig deeper into the sport where you will find every great had trouble with somebody, many greats where beat by fighters so far below the best that they beat it aint feasible on paper, but it happens, boxing is not a case of the best guys totally blitz everyone they fight, just on one single point I bet his motivation alone will be the highest its ever been, he has worked into the weight over 2yrs with a fight in-between he is not just packing on weight, and Im not saying TC wins, Im saying he could win it by giving Canelo a boxing lesson, its an interesting fight with a lot of strategy going into it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they both retire after this fight

I'm not sure that I can quite share your view. When Teo got his arse kicked by George, that was a proper "say that again" fainting out of shock moment.

But I've more of a problem with the "suddenly looks washed" thing, when the opponent gets a surprise win that he or she has worked their arse off for, but they get no credit whatsoever. Everyone suddenly gives it: "oh my, the champion was shot". They should give credit where it's due, to the challenger.

His Chin won't take it. Got rocked by 130 Gamboa and wobble by 147 Mean Machine. He better take all those SNAC supplements to have a chance.
