I'd love to see Bud do what he did to Spence when he gets in the ring with Saul Alvarez. It will probably be more of a tense chess match than a beat down but ya never know.
It's rather unlikely, but if Crawford wins this he'll be:
-The first man in the multi-belt era to become undisputed in three weight classes and the fifth of all time (Fitzsimmons, Canzoneri, Armstrong, Ross)
-The third man to become lineal world champion in four weight classes (the others are Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao)
-The sixth man to become a major world titlist in five weight classes (Tommy Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd, and Manny)
Canelo has seen it just about all, but sharpness creates speed, and speed creates power and that's what Crawford will bring different than others! Canelo isshowing signs of ageing and Crawford is aged as well, the difference is Crawford has stopped most of his last few opponents whereas Canelo has been in wars and going the distance, so wear and tear. Canelo can make a couple mistakes and 1. is too much respect, 2. not enough respect, and 3. waiting or simply trying to out counter the master. Canelo must go in there and be an aggressive weight bully, punch hard and often but don't get tired and that's a bit much to ask but that's the only way I see him retain his titles.
BIG respect to Crawford for stepping up in weight and taking a risk...boxing needs more of this as back in the old days fighter's did this without a second thought.
I hope he gets the job done and I'll be rooting for him!
