That is a waste of time for David. Next year is 7 years without even a title shot despite being ranked number 1 in his divisions the whole time. That is historically unfair.

Ben is between a rock and a hard place

if his career were to end now, people wouldn’t remember it as this guy was so good Alvarez ducked him

Speaking of fair Bivol needs to give Artur an immediate because Artur gave him one

Artur could have just jeeted off with his suspect decision

Bena made it clear before Bivol Artur 2 that a trilogy would come before him facing the winner of fight 2

You really think Bivol will go from 3 fights with beterbiev directly to Benavidez? and if beterbiev wins, at 41, it will be a gamble with his injuries. The 3rd fight will look exactly the same as the previous ones. Since when is there an obligation for a trilogy?
The obligation is for the guy who reigned as king of the division for over five years to get his rematch. As a failed challenger, Bivol wasn't owed the second crack at Beterbiev's crown but Beterbiev granted it to him anyway. Now Beterbiev deserves his rematch.

the plot twist no one saw coming

Callum somehow beats Bena and now there must be an immediate rematch

Yeah immediate rematch felt unnecessary too.
