    Strictly speaking, Ball was in the wrong when he kicked the back of Doheny's leg after the bell had ended the round, but I get his frustration having to endure that ridiculous headlock from Doheny, also after the bell. Doheny got the beat-down he deserved for being a d1kk.

      I think this article and its twin sister higher up the page are hysterical. Doheny still had Ball in a headlock 5 seconds after the bell had gone. The referee was right there and that was the time to take action, not after Nick did a gentle ballerina tip tap on the back of Doheny's leg. As for Doheny acting like a Premier League footballer, rolling around the canvas to exaggerate a nothing of an event, he should be ashamed. Hope he never gets a World Championship fight again.

        Kept the headlock long past the bell, all the crybabies keep ignoring that. The ref warned them both so there's no issue.

          Yeah embarrassing for a boxer to be doing that, was defo trying for the disqualification (who would want to become the champ that way??). Well done to the ref for telling him to cut it out and get off the floor.

            I'm quite old. I think Victor Loughlin would give them a stern talking to & basically say 'the next one of you to misbehave now is getting D/Qd'.

            Nick Ball needs to be careful, though, he could easily have been D/Qd.

              Ball vs monster has wheels. Ball is ugly and nasty too. Before Ball wears himself out.
