Oscar De La Hoya's reaction to Turki Alalshikh's collaboration with Dana White highlights the complexities of the boxing world and the challenges of navigating power dynamics in the sport. His comments reflect a deep passion for boxing and a commitment to his role as a promoter. The idea of a one-belt, one-promoter system is intriguing but also raises questions about inclusivity and competition in the industry. It will be interesting to see how this dynamic evolves and what it means for the future of boxing. What are your thoughts on this shift in the boxing landscape?

Boxing only has it's self to blame. The judging is one example where it needs to be transparent and modernised but self interest has stopped this from happening.

These promoters need to stop putting all their eggs in one basket with Turki. They don't need Turki, they just need to stop being greedy

                    We'll see what happens.

I'm not a huge fan of the UFC's promotional style. Monopolize the talent then start with tow-three year long waits before mandos are met while promoting five-ten year old clips. It's great for attracting new fans but can't hold fans for **** because eventually everyone gets burned out by the waiting and delays they claim they don't have.

That's just within the UFC, which no MMA fans groups follow exclusively. Cross poromotions unis never happen, fans know better than to even hope.
