He is done. He is just waiting for Canelo fight to cash out.

And I am fine with that. He is 4 division champ, 38 years old, he can do what he wants.

TBud is 37 and should have rematched Madrimov Q1 of this year

Madrimov certainly fought well enough to warrant a second fight

Floyd was 37 when he granted Maidana a rematch

Madrimov did a better job than Maidana

Crawford couldn't even take an interim fight while waiting.

          What a huge joke.

I think folks will be pleasantly surprised by Crawford VS Canelo the way they were with Tank VS Roach.

They're gonna get a competitive bout!

No one appreciated Crawford when he was in his prime running through divisions and becoming undisputed in two weight classes. All the PBC worshippers dismissed him all because he was with Top Rank, all the while the PBC fighters avoided him until they ran out of cherry picks and paydays. Even when he made easy work for Spence the excuses were thick with bitter envy. Crawford was the real boogeyman and now he is looking for his cash out fights, he’s earned that.

When Bud retires, there is no fight of his that I'll likely revisit. He should have signed with PBC when he had the chance, jumped to 154 specifically for Jermell, and fought Boots.
                  1. Booty ennis isn't with pbc
                  2. Booty ennis ducked that fight anyway

Personally I still wish we had seen Crawford vs a Spence who didn't have a surgically repaired HEAD

Mean Machine is a b level fighter
He left Top Rank bc Bob was honest about his drawing ability
He smashed Spence after Spence was damaged goods
He never wanted Fundora for real. He never sent an offer. It was all talk
Canelo didnt want to fight him bc its pointless fight. WTF other weight could he fight Canelo at?
Bud has the weakest resume of any "p4p" fighter at the end of their career. He has 1 name that means anything on his resume
"Interesting observation! Although I understand your perspective, it's important to keep in mind that each fighter's career is unique and is shaped by the choices and obstacles they face. Regardless of the breadth of his resume, Crawford's accomplishments—such as his unchallenged status in several weight classes—are unquestionably significant. Although the weight difference in the Canelo bout raises certain concerns, it was nonetheless a daring act that might define his career. Is it more a matter of personal preference or do you believe that the present political climate in boxing makes it more difficult for boxers to develop stronger resumes?
