Bud isn't a supernatural being, he's human. But the reason he can be inactive and still perform at a high level is because he has always trained constantly all year round. He's used to a level of consistent hard work that most fighters can't comprehend. His real superpower is his discipline and his dedication to training and staying in great shape all the time. He's what a 37 year old fighter looks like when he dedicates himself to the sport and to year round fitness and clean living. Errol is what a fighter looks like after too many years of drinking Henny w/apple juice. When you have youth on your side, you're superman. But all that drinking and smoking catches up to u after awhile, slows you down, dries you out, makes your skin puffy, makes you tired mentally and physically. Young kids stay away from that bs. Just look at Errol and learn from his example. Having said that, Errol b4 the accident was nothing to play with. I'm sad that him and Bud couldn't have gotten together b4 the accident. Thanks PBC/HAYMON/FLOYDLast edited by archiemoore1; 03-10-2025, 11:27 AM.Comment

More fights won would have improved his greatness

I remember at one point before the Spence fight, Bud was very vocal about wanting to be no1 pfp, or this might have been after the spence fight. But Bud has done nothing since, like he wanted to be no1 pfp before he retired.
And now we have seen what he has done since he beat Spence, in comparison to what his peers have did like Usyk, Inoue, i think we were right to have others in front of bud.
I mean theres so many fights bud could have. But if Bud beats Nelo, i think that might very well be worthy of making Bud no1 pfp, even though nelo isnt the best right now. At least Bud would be challenging himself.Last edited by hugh grant; 03-10-2025, 11:41 AM.Comment

Everyone knows he has not lost, it's not impressive when he only has a few decent names and 3 fights in the last 5+ yearsComment

Bud was always great. As soon as he moved up from 140, he called out all the PBC fighters. And that caused PBC to panic and create something that never existed in boxing b4. It's called, "The Other Side Of The Street"Last edited by archiemoore1; 03-10-2025, 12:05 PM.Comment

Bud has to love reading all these no talent broke ass critics on these weak ass headlines! Most of you don't even have talent on your jobs that's why Trump firing and replacing your asses! By the way I'm not for him or his policies but I'm dammmm sure not for no talent MF'ers talking sh_t that have never laced up anything but there shoes, and many fat MF'ers on here can't do that!Comment

He has had 5 fights in 5 years and not fighting before September. Meanwhile Canelo will have his 11th fight in the same time frame. Crazy how fans have hyped up this mismatch to the point it got made. Bud is elite but this is a mismatch for a payday for himComment

Buds pretty good but the argument he’s been inactive is valid. As long as some of the marquee fights get made though I don’t mind him taking his time to get to itComment
