Could Canelo get "Lamont Roached" By William Scull?

Is Scull being underrated the same way Lamont Roach was? From his previous fights Roach didn't seem like much of a threat but he raised his game against Tank and their two styles gelled well together to produce a competitive fight. Like Roach, Scull seemingly doesn't have great punch power with only a 39% KO ratio but his footwork might be better than most of Canelo's recent opponents. What if Canelo gets "Lamont Roached" by Scull, leading into the Crawford fight?

No. Scull got his ass whooped and got a hometown robbery decision against the only good opponent he ever faced. Roach had several wins over world level guys plus the loss against Herring before going into the Davis fight. He performed better than expected for sure but he was already known to be a world level guy either way.

He almost did with bumlanga. He's definitely on the decline but doubt it.

It'd be hilarious if he did, but it's unlikely.

            Almost?
One ref had it 115-113 same as that one judge in the Tank-Roach fight! The other two had it wide for Canelo though, instead of a draw.

Canelo ended up almost getting "Devin Haneyed" except Scull was an even better runner than Haney and was getting hit too much to the body.

Not that Nelo was ever a big puncher, it makes it harder to score a KO when someone is not really into exchanging.
