100,000, for example, is just a massive number. 10,000 is also massive in this day and age of economic uncertainties.

Or you're now convinced the reported numbers are fake and exaggerated?

What should be the realistic numbers in your estimate?
Realistic numbers for me should be around 50K. Numbers in the 100Ks are too hard for me to swallow. In my place of work not a single one watches boxing let alone buy ppv's.

I'm just glad this site with the new owner hasn't joined substantiating these reported "fake, manufactured" numbers so far. In contrast, the previous owner which was allied with Showtime/PBC, never failed to show reports ostensibly as official numbers, which I never took seriously.

The typical reported ppv numbers are more than that. 200K would double that size, which is massive. Which is why it's hard to stomach such exaggerated number of people still buy ppvs. Man, even a $2 app will make anyone think twice before pushing a buy button. Let alone a ppv worth $40 to $100.

Mind-boggling to see average folks defending these fake, manufactured numbers when simple common sense is staring them on their faces. Look at you. How many ppvs did you buy last year; your circle of friends and family don't buy ppvs, do they? You didn't buy Tank's latest ppv did you? Why?
Of course not. I don't buy mismatches.

There's no doubt massive number of fans watch boxing, except they don't spend money on them.
That's why we need authenticated numbers, not bogus concocted numbers pulled out of someone's ass.
                    Or stop reporting numbers altogether.
