Khan-Garcia. I was training Chad Dawson in Las Vegas and we all went over to the fight at the Mandalay Bay but at the last minute, we realized we didn’t have enough tickets so I volunteered to sit the fight out because my friend Bronco McKart was fighting across town at the Palms and I wanted to go to that anyway, so that’s what I did.

On my way out of the Mandalay Bay I ran into Bernard Hopkins in the lobby for the first time since Chad had beaten him a few months earlier and we had a nice meeting right there in the hotel, and he had some nice encouraging words for me that I’ve never forgotten.
