Haney survived a zombie attack, but many people were glad to see it. The attack that is. He set himself up being unlikable with his huggy style. I think, a shot Haney is better than a shot Ramirez, but Ryan might have ruined him.

I lost respect for him the night Shakur stepped in the ring to challenge him and he and his daddy Bill ran to the dressing room like they just saw the Grim Reaper. He never wanted to face Shakur, but the same can be said of Tank, Pit Bull and Willie Zepeda.

BS, he's the been the black sheep of boxing cuz he poses a threat to the establishment(s) in place. The powers that be wanna keep him down and devalue him cuz they don't have control over his finances and career. And honestly other boxers just be jealous, scared to fight him, or both. Casual fans just parrot the narratives pit or by promoters/ media/ their favorite fighter. There's is ZERO legit reason for the amount of hate he gets.

How many years ago was his last"huggy" fight? And the style isn't unlikeable cuz it's not even "huggy". Yall just bias. You thinking he shot shows that. You calling Ramirez shot is just tryna down play his opponent to further discredit Dev.

Ramirez lost to Barboza who's taller and has a longer reach than everybody who's on that card, and it was at 140. Same Barboza Teo been ducking for 2 years. Now Ranirez is shot, gtfoh. If he was shot he'd be fighting Ryan but Golden Boy know that ain't the case so Ryan fighting Rolly (the definition of a cherry)

More BS, why would he be giving shakur shine when HE just defended undisputed against Loma. That wasn't shakur's moment and them exchanging words ain't got **** to do with getting a fight made. Devin was THE ONLY ONE to send shakur an offer, shakur was the one who turned it down with no counter offer, yet you say Devin is the one that never wanted the fight. That makes ZERO sense. You just never had respect for Dev for real if you "lost" it over something so ****** and insignificant.

Now I'm curious when you lost respect for the other guys on this card

It looks that you are expressing disappointment on how some boxers are treated by the industry, especially someone who challenges the status quo. It is true that media, promoters and even other fighters can sometimes create stories that do not always reflect the true abilities of a fighter. Often, jealousy, fear of competition, or lack of control over a fighter career can cause unnecessary hatred. The fight against unfair stories is an ongoing challenge for many athletes that stand out of traditional molds.

As a fan of Devin the boxer, but a bigger fan of the sport, I ask you, "what threat is Devin to the establishment(s)? Are you suggesting that he is the only boxer that the powers that be want to keep down because they(supposedly) can't control his finances and career??

How many boxers can you name that are jealous of Devin? He's fighting this coming May against a not so popular, not as equally talented(in my opinion) fighter who isn't afraid to fight him. Who are the boxers that are afraid to fight him?

You won't find a post from me hating on Devin because I think he's a talented and dedicated young man, but I honestly thought it was silly of him to file a lawsuit for battery against Ryan. Some folks claimed he was doing it for the purpose of trying to clean up the sport, but in all honesty, he was only doing it to try and get leverage for the rematch. How do we know this? As soon as Turki opened up his wallet, Devin's tune on the lawsuit changed(turns out that cleaning up the sport isn't as important as his bank account).

I agree that Devin gets a lot of unwarranted hate but he isn't the first nor will he be the last. In fact, he isn't the boxer that gets the most hate on this board or other boards. As a fan of Haney, I thought it was disappointing that he was involved in the assault of an unarmed man and even more disappointing that it happened with a group of his so called friends, so I can see why some folks are slinging mud at him.

Right now Tank is the one at the receiving end of the hate because he wasn't penalized for taking a knee against Roach but Tank didn't stop the ref from penalizing him. He didn't beg the ref not to penalize him nor threaten the ref. The point is that there isn't some sort of conspiracy against Devin.
