You know folks... People get burned and it can be shameful. These scammers nowadays are very convincing and it scares the shiat out of me and yes I think about how it would feel to "explain" getting taken... I consider myself a smart guy and it would hurt my pride.
BUT I will always take the L and feel no shame IF it means giving someone a second chance. Especially a young person. Ryan may fool a lot of people but I believe we all deserve chances. This world gets increasingly harder to operate in through the generations... My old man came back from the second world war, a Marine whi saw really dreadful combat, with a face pocmarked with Malaria (Dad never did lose the scars)... He found a way to go to school (GI bill) and was respected enough to become a great musician and administrator for one of the finest Conservatories in the world, and a director for an arts school one of the finest... He was given opportunities.
In my generation there where not nearly as many opportunities. But there was still enough that one could be judged on the merits of their abilities. I was able to teach martial arts in any facility with guys who wanted to see what you could do... I was even able to teach community college and High School...
But in this generation? I doubt I would get any of those opportunities. I would be told something like "well to teach here you need to get a trainer's license," and the fact that I could not compete my PHD? (My son was born and did not want to leave my wife behind as I finished) would have damned any opportunity I had to teach college level courses... etc, etc...
Kid have it rough! All kids!! Boxers, kids looking for a job, to have a career, to start a business... They do not have the opportunities that even I had, much less the opportunities my dad had! We have vets on this site like Beercules! whom should be given exceptional opportunities because of their service to this country, yet look at how veterans are treated in this country?
Ryan is a young man. Teo.. similar situation. These guys have no real judgement yet. The brain does not even develop the infrastructure to make crtical ethics decisions until we are well into hitting 30 years old. Maybe it is not easy, but these young guys can be mentored and put right. Perhaps to start, they should all be separated from their dads who all want to use them as a financial means to an end. Someone needs to show genuine, unconditional love and be tough and resolute about taking care of themselves.

No need to over think it, time will tell if he's a changed person or not. I don't really give a **** about it because it's his life, not mine. Though I suppose that could effect his performances in the ring, so if he wants to continue winning or being a big part in the sport, he might as well try to clean up his act. I'll continue to tune in just because he is typically in entertaining fights and that's why I watch the sport. As long as he continues to deliver in the ring (without cheats) I'll continue to tune in, but that's it. Again, don't give a **** about him outside the ring and what he does.

I enjoy watching him fight because a KO can come at any second. I do not condone the drugs but based on the evidence so far everybody seems to be taking something and it is a just a question of who has been busted and whose time is yet to come.
