For all the punishment I've seen Jermain take, and punches that he didn't see coming, that punch shouldn't have knocked him out. I think it's more Jermian's career coming to an end, because i think he is getting knocked out way too easy and he is getting a concussion too easily. I want him to retire

He may withdraw now...here the excerpt below..
Hey guys, I'm back. That was Lou DiBella on the phone from Germany.
Dan Rafael

Lou said Jermain had a severe concussion and is in the hospital for precautionary reasons. He has had short term memory loss. Lou said he'll stay in the hospital for several days as a precaution. No decision has been made about his future in the tournament.

What do you think will happen with Jermain?
Dan Rafael
(11:04 PM)
Really don't know but I actually think he'll probably withdraw now.

It was a straight right from a heavy puncher square on the chin, and he didn't see it coming. A shot like that will knock almost anyone out. The point of the chin is the worst place to get hit because it provides the most leverage to slam the brain into the back of the skull, which is what causes KOs and concussions. For all the punishment I've seen Jermain take, and punches that he didn't see coming, that punch shouldn't have knocked him out.
