From now on I really hope Boxing starts the "Tank timeout rule" for all fighters who are getting their s h I t shoved into them.

Even if not ruled a KD, should have been DQ'd for turning has back and walking to the corner.

This was either extreme incompetence by everyone involved, especially the ref. Or, corruption.

I thought the fight was close, no robbery. But that should’ve counted as a KD. You absolutely can’t do that under any circumstances and it not be called a KD. You can’t stop a fight like that as the fighter, you’re not the official. Only way that could’ve been allowed was for Tank to take the standing 8 count while wiping whatever it was he had on his head.

This ref isn’t very good though, it’s not the first fight he somehow smears with controversy. But this is a really big deal. There has to be more checks and balances in a boxing fight. There has to be someone who checks the ref and can overrule a call if sufficient evidence is provided. In this case this was a clear cut voluntary knee to stop the action, that’s a KD, and someone should’ve corrected that as soon as it happened.

What do yall think? This is a clear 10-8 round. The ref even gave him a timeout.
Nope, that’s not just any old knee that’s a knee from Baltimore. A fighter has the right to protect himself at all times and if grease is in his eyes and he can’t see and doesn’t want to be hit by a cheap shot it was a smart move. However, the referee should have penalised him and even if he didn’t then the judges knowing the rules should have awarded the knock down to Roach regardless

Tank should’ve just hit the Chris Webber timeout before to make it more comical.

Willis should be provisionally suspended until he appears before the New York commission and explains his actions. The only place I have seen this before was in the WWF where the referee allowed the villain to do whatever he wanted and then gave a fast count to the hero.

I guess since Tank couldn't drop Roach we couldn't see a fast a count...
