    Robbed....

....of course they were in England. But Dirrell was robbed and EVERYONE knows it. I watched because I said to myself that there would be no robbery because it was a tourney and what would be the point. But obviously they found a way to rob someone when it wasn't even necessary. I HATE being a boxing fan!!!!!!!!!

I had most of the early rounds going either way.

In the end it was Froch who won. Either fighter could of won. But Dirrell's constant hugging, sticking his head between Froch's legs and desperate attempts not to fight on the inside ruined his chances of winning.

You cannot fight like that and expect to win.

I'm surprised he wasn't deducted another point.

Lets face it guys, the fight was very close in terms of points. All the judges were Latino and the ref was from Panama. So no hometown decision.

How much did Froch's camp pay the two judges to have the same score for Froch when Froch was punching air? Don't you actually have to punch your opponent to win the fight.

          no way!

ward as champ?! i've seen ward fight. no way in hell he'll beat abraham or dirrell. i think dirrell was robbed, but i also thought that froch deserved it also. abraham's KO was a surprise, and kind of dangerous of the opponent. i'd rather KO a fighter as early as possible, even if its very, very difficult, cuz of the amount of damage and fatigue to the fighter.

froch-dirrell match almost ended up on the ground, MMA style. lots of dirty tactics, but its a part of the sport. i still think it was a hometown decision, but dirrell was clinching and running around too much so i understand the split decision. but the points, 115-112?! that's bull****. i'd go 114-113.

dirrell needs to work on his inside/short-range offense. he has great technique, but not much power and complains a lot. good future for him, just needs more work on his short-range/inside and more conditioning (he was breathing hard mid-fight).

          kessler-ward? i'd go with kessler.

sorry guys..i saw Froch Dirrell as a draw..too much holding from Dirrell isn't gonna cut it and it showed tonight..Abraham will takte the tourney..i said it since the beginning..ABRAHAM IS MY PICK FOR THE TOURNEY...TOO MUCH POWER...hats off to Jermian for not gassing out too much at the end...I honestly think, due to styles, that he will have a better fight against Kessler once they meet....

How much are they getting paid for these fights?? $4 million for the winner of the tournament?? I know Pavlik might of been upset for not being invited to be part of the tournament but was right in a way when he said "Let them beat each other up. Let them ruin their careers for peanuts."

Once Ward beats Kessler he will have everyone else beaten mentally.

I don't get it. I don't get why everyone loves AA so much. Again, I thought Taylor was at least IN the fight before that glass jaw that Pavlik gave him showed up again. But AA takes WAY too many jabs to be taken seriously. To his credit he did drop Taylor with the only damn straight punch he threw all night but get him outside Germany where every body punch isn't met with a warning and every jab thrown his way isn't a lollipop and then I'll be a true believer. Until then he's Richard Dunn (and he better run).
And just for the record, I thought Dirrell might've won his fight as well but like AA it's hard to root for someone that spends half the fight bitching to the ref.
My favorite in the whole damn thing is Froch - At least he is who he is and he is the damn champ of the whole crowd as far as I am concerned. (Again, with the caveat that he may have lost tonight if the fight were somewhere outside europe or Houston.

                      Froch still won,and deserved it!
Direll fought like a *****,afraid to trade with Froch.
                      But he's young,so I understand that,bt,I have Froch winnin,this SD is a joke.

                      Kessler one dimensional?
He looked in his last fight...he looked bad tough he koed an average fighter in the 4...
But it ain't the Kessler I saw before,he needs one or two fights to be back at the top...
Ward isn't a gift for sure,I think he's the best of 3 yanks,a gold prospect, not a bronze shout out to Direll.
Unlike Dirrell,Ward is smart,he will not trip.

Don't know what they are goin to do with JT,this KO is bad.And I mean, how do you take in the S6 a guy that lost his last fight by KO??
