Turki definitely pays over the market rate but he demands dream / competitive match ups which is against Gervonta's religion, integrity, moral principles or whatever you want to call his excuses for refusing to fight dangerous opponents.

How would you explain Turki paying Ginger to fight Scull and possibly the winner of Benn/Eubank?? There was mention Ginger's 3rd fight being against Sheeraz, had he won last Saturday..

Who cares about all the money blablabla?! If you are a boxing fan, you want to see the best fights out there, period. Like any other sport, professional boxing should be about challenging yourself and getting the most out of your abilities.

And the truth is that Tank Davis has not given that to the fans throughout his career. It's depressing, because I think he would beat almost everyone out there (I do think Shakur would speed through to a win, but we'll never know because that fight will probably never be made).

Davis should be a deadlock for the Hall of Fame by now, but he isn't because he has chosen the easy fights. What a waste of talent.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but my post is in regards to the title of the thread, thus Tank not needing to bow down to Turki.

That being said, if Turki offers Tank a deal as close to what he offered Ginger, he might very well change his mind..

Tank is a clown who refuses to face elite fighters. You can't be the face of boxing fighting Jamel Herring leftovers.

Tank is the true king of boxing. A big enough draw that he can fight anywhere in the U.S. and do what he wants, without having to bow to a murderous despot like every other big name chump in the sport. Not to mention, pound for pound, the biggest puncher in boxing right now. His timing, ring iq, and power has dudes like Loma turning down career high purses and running for the hills.

The difference between Loma and anyone else is so startling that it doesn’t take much to see he is levels above Davis in skills. Only thing Davis has on Loma is about 10 pounds.
