Beterbiev and Bivol both won undisputed once now.

So, belts are not really important from now on. Bivol will fight Beterbiev again, because Turki will want him to and because it is the biggest money fight.

I really think Benavidez is potentially one or two fights away from being the biggest name in boxing. He’s exciting, he’s charismatic, he’s a couple more wins away from being a legit p4p guy (albeit they have to be the right wins), and marketable. Has to stay away from the booze and coke though lol.

            possible skill issues though

compare his performances against Plant & Gvozdyk

VS what Alvarez & Artur did to fresher stronger versions of them

If Bivol doesn't do a trilogy with Beterbiev, Benavidez deserves a shot at a career defining fight. He's earned his stripes. Canelo won't give him a shot. Someone should.

Funny that WBC didn’t want to sanction a fight against Bivol for years. Now he’s champ it would be just desserts if he just dropped it and didn’t pay fees.

I do prefer a fight against Benny than Beterbiev though. Theres a lot more mystery in that matchup. Especially with the fact Benny (although very different to Beter) has a come forward, high volume style and is in the middle of his prime. He ain’t got that same power at 175 though.
