Tim doesn't make things easy on himself, so no opponent is really safe from here on.

Took some unneccesary knockdowns in the last fight; really brutal shots while already hurt over a duration of time. And that was after coming back really quickly following the rugged fight with Fundora. Not really liking that timeline of events.

I'm hoping that Tim does not do what he did against Murtazaliev and starts off boxing Spencer. In his last fight he just walked toward the guy with his hands down and thought that he'd fall over just by Tim looking at him .

The arrogance in the last fight was disturbing, might have been trying to impress the old man in the audience. How he reacted to that cut was also a bit worrying, might be something he won’t get over for a while yet.

Tim will never be the same. The commission, doctor, ref and his corner should've stopped the Fundora fight with that head cut. A real fighter isn't built to save himself. Tszyu is finished

Not a terrible choice, a little sooner than expected, considering the beating he took.

My 2024 wasnt anything to brag about, but it was golden compared to Tim. He should have been pulled out of the Fundora fight, his corner were awful...I remember Dan Raphael going on about what guts he and his corner showed in continuing....if they had pulled him out, or not taken the fight to begin with (switching at short notice from KT) no one would remember now.

They should have pulled him from the Murza fight at the end of the 2nd as well.

The same reason for burning bread, people drowning, people being born and boxers taking beatings: pulled out too late.

His eyes during the Murt fight after being dropped three times was the look of a man truly lost. The way he pawed at the Fundora cut early on was the clear indicator that something bad was about to happen. Can he rebuild? Maybe. I think a lot of psychological issues will linger for a very long while, and he quite simply needs an entirely new corner. I won't scoff at his choice of opponent after two serious beatings, but Tim has some real reflection to do.

He was a work in progress, did improve and was taking challenges. I never said he was skilled or the best but at least he was not hiding behind his name. Mentally the second defeat was a crushing one. The first defeat he showed heart in that blood bath and continually tried to win.

Now a days most fighters avoid challenges on the way up and even when they get a title they will make weak defenses. Look at Davis, all those skills and I am still waiting for him to step it up.
