I know I sound ******. I scored first fight for Bivol and the second one for Beterbiev. Very little to separate these two but Beterbiev was the one pressing the action.

Beterbiev won 2 rounds that were close and 2 that he was the clear victor of the round

Bivol won 3 rounds that were close and 5 rounds that were Bivol as the clear victor

The first fight was closer as i actually had it a draw

Time to let some fresh names - Benavidez chief among them - have a crack at the belts rather than letting Bivol and Bertebiev continue to hold them hostage with an unnecessary third fight.

Benavidez vs any of these 2 guys will be More Massive, than a third fight, that will be the same type of fight.Let's make Benavidez vs Betterviev and Bivol vs Smith, since he deserves a less demanding but interesting fight.

Wow...Smith got stomped out by 168 Canelo, moves up to 175 and wins 2 fights in good fashion then gets choked out by Beterviev and barely got by Buatsi. Smith no chance vs Bivol so let him rematch Betervbiev who KO'd his ass. Benavidez former 168 champ, the same as Smith, can fight for the championship after 2 fights at 175 just like Smith did . No world champion should ever be looking at a less demanding opponent. You want to match make... put Smith in with Benavidez while everyone awaits the trilogy. Benavidez KO's the fuc k out of Smith for 3 secondary titles.

You are damn right...hostage is a champ not fighting the best or most dangerous, or fighting safe fights, or being an overwhelming favorite, or in a fight where no one on the planet can see the champ losing the belt, or never fighting a long running mandatory, or Franchise Champ...

It is interesting that many Beterbiev fans have a hard time with accepting what has happened (again). I like both Bivol and Beterbiev and as a general rule like more violent fighters like Beterbiev and I am not too crazy about supreme boxers like Bivol. BUT, it is time to accept that Beterbiev lost - probably twice now. During the fight yesterday, Sky Sports were publishing the fan score and it was in Bivol's favour all the way, I believe 3 points at the end and 4 points after round 11. There is no controversy. Bivol is just better. Time to accept it and move on.

People need to put their emotions aside just because YOU think a fighter won does not mean that is the case. They are one win a piece and require a third to settle the score that is all. These two are so evenly matched let’s just enjoy the best fighting each other.
