Turki is the king of boxing

He is calling the shots and he tells who fights who.

He probably already told Benavidez who he fights while waiting on trilogy winner.

Why do you think Usyk already knows he fights Dubois? Turki told him so.

It is Turki`s game now, Warren, Hearn, de la Hoya...are just his puppets.

    can't argue with that.

Eddie and Warren are just coffee runners for Turki. They still do their own little domestic shows to try and maintain some credibility, but Turki had taken the big shows away from them in terms of who really runs things.

look at Eubank v Benn. That's now a Turki show in the UK too. Eddie already made that fight in 2023 before Benn got busted, so it's not like Eddie was incapable of making it without Turki. That just shows you that Turki has basically told Eddie to fall in line and taken big shows out of his hands.

they're really just feeder promoters for Turki. They'll be used to bring fighters through to a certain level and then Turki takes over once they're ready for the big time.

I bet Eddie resents Turki but he knows where his bread is buttered and puts up with it. I think Warren is OK though because he's had a resurgence.

PBC need to fall in line next, they're being left out in the cold now and not building many new stars.

Turki has the biggest budgets. His fights are state funded. The promoters are privately funded and only have so much money to work with

Turki will pressure guys to take hard fights back to back if it’s warranted

Now fighters are less likely to take an easy fight after a tough fight

Pretty much. it has positives and negatives. Obviously all this cash is getting big fights made more frequently and making cards much deeper. But then the trade offs are the zero atmosphere arenas, all the nauseating bootlicking of "his excellency" and just the general ick factor that boxing almost entirely goes through the Saudis now. They've obviously tried to buy their way into many other sports too but they've gotten a small slice of the pie with those while with boxing they've taken the whole ****ing thing.
