Man I didn’t think it was that close bivol won the first 3 rounds then beterbiev the next 2 then it was all bivol. I gave beterbiev the 12th but the fact this had one scorecard a draw was an absolute joke.

He whooped artur. Outlanded him in almost every round and outlanded in power punches by quite a bit I reckon when they add it all up. Many people on here just can’t cope lol

Good win by Bivol and well deserved. AB was mystified by his movement and was constantly smacked with 3 and 4 punch combos. Also Bivol did some great body work. Beterbievs face at the end of the fight told the story.

Lol Bivol wasn't running, he was controlling range from a hard puncher who for the most part followed Bivol around and was led masterfully into 3 and 4 punch combos.

Agreed. It was until around round 8 or so. Beterbiev ramped up the pressure mid rounds and once Bivol weathered that storm, he adjusted and you could see his confidence rising. He had the edge from then even if Beterbiev was constantly dangerous and had his moments

He can't handle Biev's power and so he constantly runs. Pro boxing is scored on clean shots, the harder punches thrown, who is making the fight, who is the aggressor. As I said, it is not normal for a fighter to win running backwards constantly and taking shots, then trying to steal the last 30 seconds of rounds. The other 2 min 30 seconds hold just as much weight. In those minutes Bivol is usually running.

Biev said many times that he wanted to fight Bivol. Bivol never seemed keen until Artur hit 39.

Just saying. It all seems a bit questionable. Artur has Bivol reeling and he just let him off the hook. The smile Biev gave at the end seemed off as well, as if he was grimacing because he knew something that we don't.....maybe that he didn't finish Bivol for that reason? He is 40 and maybe has another year or two. Maybe he was told he will make a huge amount to take into retirement if he allows the trilogy? He was utterly whipping Bivol for a few rounds, and then he just stopped. For most of the rest of the fight.

I have to say, it looked thrown. I just rewatched and Biev looks fine physically, but he just coasts.

Not saying I blame him. But he won the fight IMO, it just looks like he could have stopped Bivol at most any time and instead he let Bivol get his punches in.

On second watch I'm calling it a definite setup to get a trilogy. I'd be pissed at Biev but he has given us all great fights. I can kind of understand it. It's alot of money.
That's just your opinion about him running but the tape says otherwise, re watch slowed down if needs be because it's not the case at all.

You can claim Beterbiev wanted the fight but I don't care what he says I'll go by his actions.

And he even said after the fight he didn't want the 2nd fight and he's not keen on the third but he'll do it because Turki wants it...

You got that right Sir. I'm in awe by some of the comments here saying Bivol runned and all sort of absolute nonsense like damn some folks just don't know what they're watching. Lol Its tragic.

I just rewatched it. It isn't opinion. Bivol literally runs for 80% of the fight. Biev hurts him a couple of times, let's him off the hook. And then he just stops being aggressive. He threw it, with a rewatch it is obvious that he wants the third fight payday and just tried to make the last half of the fight look ok. Bivol looked dumbfounded when Biev was hammering him, he was reeling.

It is obvious this second fight was setup by the shiek. The rewatch makes it comically obvious.

                  God Canelo fanboys are incredible.

Bivol is literally running backwards for most of the fight. ANY other fighter does that and you all will call it out in a second. But not Bivol, God no, when he is literally stumbling over himself running away from Artur he is legend.

                  It's awesome to behold.

actually I’m a Floyd fan and believe in back foot boxing

running is what Lara did in the Alvarez fight

Bivol did some running in the first fight too

Running is Defensively backpedaling without throwing enough to score

Bivol adjusted masterfully and won it fair n square ,Beterbiev gave it all too it was close fight as expected so no robbery and Dmitri def didn't ran at all don't know what fight you watched but you cant called someone a runner when he is accurately and consistently engaging using footwork.
