I am sure his team and supporters will keep repeating the short notice, no training camp issues which are largely true but that is on him because he chose to take the fight. As per his own admittance (and those in the know), he was training prior to going to the Congo for a short break...so he was not in a training camp but he had been training. I can understand he was underprepared, not his best weight, lacked timing or footwork, etc. but he did not lose on points or get exhausted in the later rounds or showed he was off-timing, he just got knocked out when the first descent top HW connected.

This doesn't look good at all for him. At least he can take the payday and improve the house he's constructing back home.
Spoken like a true fan of the science first.

Martin Bakole was grossly out of condition 'And he had made a very long journey, from Africa in the last 48 hours. Those two factors are most likely why he was beaten quite easily by Parker'.

I stated yesterday? That even if Martin Bakole had endured a full training camp 'I would still back him to win. And that is because? Skill for skill Bakole is a very crude and unsophisticated fighter. You could see that last night, his defense, punch technique and movement was terrible'.

Note: Fighters such as Tyson Fury, have been grossly out of condition before 'And there have been many stories, of Fury being able to dominate and compete with Heavyweight fighters in sparring while weighing many stones over his usual fighting weight. Tyson Fury was able to do this because? Skill for skill he was a genuine World to Elite level fighter'.

So, I would not personally hold last night's performance against Martin Bakole 'Or Billy Nelson as a boxing coach'. Bakole was 20 +t pounds over his usual fighting weight, and he was not in preparation for any fight'.

They were presented a opportunity, which they seized when many other Heavyweight fighters in the same position 'In my opinion they would have avoided such a challenge, Derek Chisora who had recently fought? WarChisora, he turned the fight opportunity to fight Joseph Parker down'. Which in reality for any solid level heavyweight on a winning streak is the right thing to do'.

In such a big boxing event 'There should have been some back up fighters, preparing just in case? Any of the fighters in the main card pulled out of their fights'.

Overall if Daniel Dubois would have not pulled out of his fight vs Parker 'I would of still backed Parker to win over the distance. Joseph Parker if he has proven one thing in his last three fights beyond doubt? He has proven that his durability is elite level'.

Tyson Fury for a very long time was praised for his recuperative abilities when hurt 'Parker has statistically most likely fought and proven his durability against more proven offensive and power punchers than Tyson Fury'.

Parker has fought, Dillian Whyte, Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, Martin Bakole, Anthony Joshua 'And whether he has won or lost in those fights. His durability was proven to be elite'.

Up against a fighter like Daniel Dubois 'Who stylistically may be an aggressive and powerful fighter, but? He has been proven to be a front runner in all of his genuine World to Elite level fights. I just believe that Joseph Parker has all the attributes to beat Dubois. Parker skill for skill is the superior fighter, his durability levels are higher, he has more experienced at top level win or lose, and he is not going to disappear soon as the fight reaches the middle rounds'.

Daniel Dubois being a front runner, has nothing to do with him lacking courage 'Dubois has courage, and his shown it in almost all of his fights. Dubois being a front runner, is more to do with his style and attributes, not really being effective over the distance. Dubois endurance levels are worst then Fury's and Joshua's, his durability is overrated and skill for skill he is not a sophisticated fighter'.

There is a good chance that Daniel Dubois and his team may avoid fighting Joseph Parker next 'This leaves a opportunity for Anthony Joshua to potentially rematch Dubois II in the summer. Joshua should of beaten Dubois first time around, but? Dubois had his Any Given Saturday, he took his opportunity and executed a great fight for his specific style up against a technically under-par Anthony Joshua'.

Anthony Joshua still has to prove that he can perform better vs Dubois 'And not make all of those unforced errors, and uncharacteristic technical mistakes. But when I still match the two fighters side by side, and analyse their attributes. Anthony Joshua is the superior fighter skill for skill by many miles, if Joshua executes his best fight vs Dubois he should be able to win over the distance at the very least'.

Daniel Dubois is still a formidable challenge for many heavyweight fighters in game 'And his rise to becoming the IBF World Heavyweight Champion is inspiring. But it is only a matter of time, before he is beaten in spectacular fashion'

Dubois's entire game relies on his aggression and power, the issue with that? Is Dubois's endurance levels, durability and skill level are not super high. All the top level Heavyweight fighters in my opinion, are very aware of the blue print to beat Dubois. Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua are two of those top level fighters' etc.

Well of course it was the money. Imagine you are from The Congo and you have an opportunity to make a 7-figure payday. A million (or more) goes a long way in The Congo to feed and house and educate your family. That's motivation right there. Do you really think Bakole and his team didn't do a risk analysis of the opportunity? Of course they did. A loss is a loss but in context, it's not so bad. He will get more big-stage fights for big money. I'm pretty sure Turkey The Most Excellent Excellency made it worth Bakole's while to take the fight and enjoy the certainty of future rewards, win or lose. Smart move on Bakole's part to take the fight.

They not only thought it, they knew it. Didn't matter. It was a good bet even if he has to take a loss.

Taking the fight on a 3 day notice...even Bakole knew he was going to get trounced, but the money was too good to pass up
