It could just as easily make a fighter completely paranoid, or even increase lethargy.

As we all know, the effects of weed can differ greatly among different individuals.

Unless you're claiming that this was her first time and she just took a chance that she'd respond favorably to it, I don't know how/if this is relevant here.

If Shields did consume it, she presumably did it because she already knew its beneficial (relaxing) effects from previous use, not because she wanted to be paranoid.

Weed is not cheating in any sport, not snooker, not football, they already accepted it in the NBA so everyone else should catch up.

Fair enough. As of now, though, it's considered cheating for boxers in Michigan.

I’ve had to deal with weird test results too, and sometimes it’s just about knowing exactly what’s in what you’re using.
