Loved the 3 Barrera-Morales fights. Highly entertaining. For me, I prefer fight #1 and 3 most.

Pacquiao is crazy when you think about it. He had a trilogy with Morales. A trilogy with Tim Bradley and a quadrilogy against Marquez. 3 different opponents, 10 total fights between them.

Few fighters walk away with at least 1 trilogy in their career, but 3? If Barrera would have won the rematch, you know that would have been a guaranteed trilogy with him.

Top 5, no doubt about it.

Barrera vs Morales for me was the best of the bunch because both were in their primes, genuinely hated each other, had the most competitive matchups mixed with skill and brawling. Not for nothing but look how many Mexicans were involved in many of these rivalries. Back when Mexican boxing consisted of the best wanting to face the best. What a fall from grace we’ve seen during this current era.

Pacquiao was a gift that just kept on giving to boxing fans....Just do not think we will see anything like him again.

I cannot be impartial on the Berrera-Morales fights. Best 36 rounds of boxing I think anyone can watch. If someone asks me "how do I know if I would like boxing or not?" I point to this trilogy. If you are not entertained by it, you are not a boxing fan.

If they ask which one to watch if they could only watch one of them, my answer would be "Yes."

I was just getting into boxing when they fought the first time...just wow. So many great fights in the lower weights back then...I could never understand why the small guys were not more popular.

Hell yeah, I'd replace Ali-Frazier with Izzy Vasquez-Marquez but otherwise, good list!

For me it was actually their 3rd fight when I started getting into boxing hardcore. That would of happened a bit after Pacquiao beat Barrera the first time (when I first got into boxing) because Barrera was said to be done after Pacquiao and that 3rd fight proved he still had plenty in the tank left.
