Dumbest thing I've heard in a while. Benevedez, Rozicki and many others would like a word. WBC is only enforced if the a side is the challenger, or the champ wants the fight.

At least ibf would make canelo drop the belt again if he didnt want the fight.

If you actually want a Canelo fight or the belt, WBO and IBF are the only ones who might actually order the fight even if Canelo doesn't want it.

What an absolute mess of a division. Some optimal (and sub-optimal to be sure) talent just stuck in the mud.

The only two options for sure. The other two are beyond ridiculous. Benevidez was just in a fun fight...man I was sour when they announced him as the unified wba regular and wbc interim champ. What utter nonsense is that?

They would be my first two to go...maybe merge the other two. At least they have some semblance of respect for the sport.

              Again again and again
I’m beginning to believe he just doesn’t want it
Wish they would actually go get the Pacheco fight
              Wishful thinking , maybe

I knew he didn't want it after the second time he turned down the Morrell fight but still wanted to be ranked #1 by the WBA, please and thanks. Guy is a KO waiting to happen vs anyone with power. Won't even risk Caleb Plant, FFS.

He feels a lot like Edgar Berlanga when the latter was still on the 16 first round KO hype to me. Gaping holes in his defense, and a career that's all mismatches. When's he gonna fight someone ranked in the top 40 even? He's gotten his rankings without ever fighting a guy ranked higher than 40...
