For a British boxing scene where essentially we will support our fighters no matter what and these two are quality fighters.

But....

These two have no momentum and sadly no charisma.

To the extent aside from picking up an interim belt what happens then?

Maybe it is a sign of the new saudi era that it doesn't matter but both of these I feel would struggle to sell out an arena in England fighting Beterbiev or Bivol.

Do you reckon? Maybe is the M&S arena in Liverpool with a scouse undercard I guess but I can't imagine the dough would even be there for Artur.

I can see Yarde and Buatsi headling the o2. Not convinced about anything else. I guess Buatsi is a quiet guy but it's unreal to think he's been a pro for 9 years.

You must understand that, Liverpool fighters are some of the most well supported fighters in British Boxing 'The two remaining Smith brothers active in the game. In my opinion could easily sell out Anfield football stadium, ether in a big domestic fight or World title fight'.

No other active UK fighters in the country would be able to achieve such a feat besides 'Anthony Joshua,,or Tyson Fury if he comes out of retirement'.

I will admit? I have personally never been big supporters of the Smith brothers 'And Callum Smith's career, really has not inspired me that much. David Price's career was by far more intriguing and dramatic than Callum Smith's thus far'.

But as a Unit, The Smith brothers their legacy in the game 'Is very intriguing'. They are without a shadow of a doubt, the biggest most supported fighters in the Liverpool.

I think most UK boxing promoters would look at Callum Smith as a definitive asset to their team, if he can win 'Seriously, both Smith brothers are with Eddie Hearn. If their careers had no business potential? A promoter like Eddie Hearn in my opinion would not be working with them. Because MatchRoom and Hearn are competitors themselves, and they want to stage big events. Whether that be at Domestic or World level'.

I could see Paddy Pimblett selling out Anfield actually if he can keep winning as a major UFC card.

I just can't see that with the Smith Bros at this point. Especially not in a fight he probably wont win. But you're right in the sense they could do a mega scouse card as there is plenty of Liverpool fighters coming up now in the lighter weights but Anfield? They are gonna need another World class fighter to emerge imo.

I like Liam as a fighter. It is not really Callum's fault but I didn't like how he gave Ryder no props and not giving him the rematch - that was a clear win for Ryder in my eyes.

I wouldnt criticise him for coming up a fair bit short against Canelo and Beterbiev. They're two of the best fighters of this generation.
