Hoping Zepeda can prove he’s a notch higher than Tevin
He’s on the right track by doing testing and erasing that mark from this fight

Looking forward to this one. I thought the first fight had some interesting wrinkles even though Zep ultimately nicked the win. I think it’s likely to be a similar affair but the threat of Zep increasing his volume is matched by the threat that it could very well open up a brilliant counter attack for Tevin.

To be honest, the first fight was the one time in which Zepeda didn't look as if his engine was PED-fueled.

Hoping that with testing we can eliminate that preconception

"Because the bout was over 10 rounds for the WBC interim title, there was no obligation to subject the fighters to stringent testing . . . "

Which is a bad look for boxing and the WBC in particular.

Zepeda has volume, but lack power and defense do ofcourse by attacking most of time.

Perhaps he is scared of Shakur? Perhaps he thinks he needs more preparation for Shakur with a fighter who has a similar style? Anyone has a better explanation?
Oscar typically isn’t afraid to put his guys in riskier fights. He’s not Bob Arum with his marinating and Top Rank Protection Program.

Nah he needs to get past this fight
I wanna see it and will prove what El Camaron is all about
If Shakur isn’t next then we’ll know he’s avoiding him but I don’t think so to be the case

                    All the naysayers
Get any kind of negative out of the way
So if he does face Shakur , win or lose we know that he gave his all
