Lower level chess game , not enough action from both or enough skill to admire..Maybe they shut each other's best work out , there wasn't a lot on display , hard to score disappointed in both.

Boxing and the fans lost with these two boring mothertruckers fisting each other with their lead hands all night. Either throw a punch or keep your lead hand home. Everytime that someone does that crap , the other guy should sidestep it or knock it down and crack him. If you want to fence , be a fencer. I hate that tactic. Both guys took an L as far as I'm concerned.

Catteral: "Oh boy, I'm going to be so inactive, you'll never recover from it".
Barboza: "Bring two La-Z-Boy chairs, I'm going to gently flick you to death, whilst I read my newspaper".

Guys like Catterall , Barboza , and a few others should be sentenced to fighting in The Bubble for the rest of their careers , no TV Coverage , no live online coverage , just a blurb on a Wednesday newspaper on the last page of the sports. Next to baseball stats and dog racing results.

The boringness of the fight was almost exclusively Catterall's fault. He has a style which proves difficult to be aggressive against for fighters as he just boxes of the backfoot looking for counters and makes his opponents come towards him. He does find occasional moments of success with the left hand and its that which deters opponents from over committing - the problem is his output is EXTREMELY low which provides for a horrendous viewing spectacle...

At least guys like Lara, while boring fans for a few rounds, knew how and when to detonate the missile left to change the course of a fight, Cateralll is just an awful fighter to watch!

I agree but few other??? Afraid to say their names because of their race?? Shakur Stevenson, and 100 more Africans who fight with a little more movement and rythm (because of theoir race) than Caterall but with a lot more hugging but are praised by the media because they are slick, whatever that means. Zero power.

Yes, I agree. TBH I think his style is just smoke and mirrors. Anyone with decent output and approaches the fight half smart should beat him....I don't know how anyone can be high on Catteral.

Catterall, what is there to say? He just can't take it to another level. If Josh Taylor could still safely make 140, Josh would absolutely brutalise Barboza. I mean Josh would put him in hospital.

So the guy who lost convincingly to Caterall is going to smash the guy who convincingly beat Caterall? Let me guess, because he’s from that part of the world? Not making a lot of sense my man.

How was it bs? Catteral did next to nothing most rounds and rounds he "won" he didn't even win by a landslide. His style is to just do almost enough. The cards reflect a close fight and tbh, it was a standard performance. Jack showed that if he has to initiate action then he simply won't and he prefers "quiet rounds". Now this isn't to say Barboza was special, but he didn't need to do a lot to win thanks to Catterall's extremely low output and activity.

Very few people saw Barboza win; and in Cattera's back yard! Like I said, Catteral wasn't special, but he did enough, in my book, to win the decision.
