Possibility that he was green is what I was saying and the learning process

I feel it depends on Madrimov, he didnt go after Bud I think what would have come back kept him in a somewhat passive mode, if he goes after Ortiz he could get stopped and you will see everyone can TC, its all about how Madrimov goes in, if he steps up or holds back.

Bud’s ring iq is what kept him honest for me
But Ortiz does not have that ring iq although he makes up for it in power
I still see Madrimov winning though

I've really wanted to like Ortiz but I realized after his last fight why he was almost killing himself to get to 147. He doesn't have the size advantage at 154. He is gritty and does have strong legs (like all Robert Garcias guys) but a good counter puncher at 154 may just sleep him.

I think Ortiz will limit Madrimov's ring generalship with ring cutting along with his body work and sharp jab.

This time Vergil isn't handling a physically bigger and overwhelming swarmer, but rather a boxer puncher whose at a size disadvantage, and whose offense is low output though his power is underrated. Madrimov also tends to overextend his punches, which actually allowed him to catch Crawford by surprise whenever he tried to create distance, but it can also be a disadvantage as it leaves him open for counters. Specially considering his off position to brace himself. His feint game will also not be as affective on a boxer who doesn't to counter as much Crawford.

Might be wrong with the outcome, just glad this fight is happening.

He might over extend but he lands with it and is smart when he does it..

If one of the best counter punchers in the game couldnt exploit it i dont see how Ortiz will make him pay more than Bud did.

                      I pick Madrimov

I thought he beat Crawford 7-5 but was never gonna get a decision

But if I had a criticism, he didn't seem that willing to leave it all in the ring in the last few rounds.

a bit more will and he beats ortiz, no problem.
