Juanma was a wrecking ball that was exciting and fun to watch until he ran into Salido and then he started getting wrecked - his chin was just broken to pieces and he never recovered.

I remember how spectacular and sudden his disintegration as an elite force in the division was when that happened.
I think only the old guys around here saw it live, heh.

It was such a sudden drop, from what people thought he would be, and it was ugly too. After the Salcido fights, his losses were really painful.Never mind a failing career, I was half expecting him to be killed in there at some point if he kept goin.

Speaking of sudden drops at around the same time, but not as bad, was Kelly Pavlik...lost to Bhop and then Martinez and that was it...expected him to be around longer.
