He gets to hold the belt until a bigger money fight materializes.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight 2 soft fights then ends up against ortiz in a big money fight in dallas

Fundora will win this match no doubt, but by the time he fights again, I am sure it will be 2026 or late 2025 if he's lucky!
1 defense of your titles against Booker 2 years after winning the titles is not considred "big leagues"!

At least Tim actually wants all the smoke!
He tried to rematch Fundora, when that didn't happen he signed up to fight Vergil and when that failed due to injury he went for Murtazaliev!
Took a beating and now hes back fighting in aus.

Who knows, maybe Booker will be unable to make the fight, and Ramos will be the late sub (like Fundora was against Tszyu)

Well, it'll be just about a year since Fundora won the belt from Tszyu, and this will be his first fight since then. But it's against a soft touch that looks more like a tune-up. He's not able to get huge paydays, but he is getting what he can, while he can. He should win this fight easily, and then maybe he'll step up a little more, and make a little more money. Then, he'll maybe gain enough hype to step up for a big fight vs one of the other top guys in the division and get KTFO. But, by then at least he will have earned enough to fade away and live comfortably.

Then there was injury time before Tszyu went forward and got his sheet pushed in which sent him all the way back to Australia. I get the feeling thats where he will stay. He was making millions there before he tried to test himself overseas...and he can go back to making millions in aus without having to risk any further brain damage. Fundora will continue on playing in the big leagues.

Out for months with a broken nose, getting called out by two of the biggest money makers in the sport (Crawford, Spence) only to see neither of them materialize, finally has to fight someone so gets this guy. I might be biased, but I'm willing to give him this fight to get at least something in. After which it needs to be a live cannon in the opposite corner.
