Would things have been different for Sturm if he was awarded the W vs Oscar ???

A complete mismatch - Sturm‘s German opponent is #425 at boxrec and # 33 in Germany. And they fight for a WBA Gold title

No, but they would have been different for Macklin if he'd been awarded the W against Sturm lol.

I tell you, it's a fair argument that Sturm beat De La Hoya.

Yes, Oscar was not in the kind of shape as for Hopkins, but yeah, they made sure he got the decision so that the superfight took place.

                Weirder things have happened
Plus he sat out a year I think waiting for the rematch that never came

I cheered heavy for King Sam Soliman
