Assuming it's actually official with signatures on contracts, this was the obvious move, to make later fights look bigger because they'll be "for undisputed". And the sell for Scull will likely look something like "he was just a mandatory before but he beat another undefeated top contender blah blah so now he's a champion blah blah". And Canelo gets to claim he's a two time undisputed super middleweight champion and add another "undefeated champion" to his resume.
I'm guessing that Crawford will be the September fight.
If he actually fights any of Benavidez, Bivol, or Beterbiev I'll give him some props. But I doubt it. We'll see what Turki will let him get away with.
What if he moves up to LHW you'll give him some credit only then. Jeez, what about if those guys move up to Cruiserweight first and prove themselves there
