You try and justify keeping Gervonta Davis in the top 10, who does belong there. What about Bud Crawford who fights once per year, and garbage opponents?!?!?!? Canelo has fought 2x per year like clockwork, 3x in 2021. Please submit your resignation to Boxing Scene ASAP.
    His last test was Biv
    Munguia
    Berlanga
    Charla
    Ryder
    And now Scull ?!?!?!?

I've been rooting for Nelo when he was Young Nelo
Been saying he has the best resume of all active fighters
But the bullshlt is starting to pile up !!!!!

    SCULL ?!?!?!?!?!?

It is for a Hall Of Famer and he is quite skilled to have pulled it off, but it is quite exaggerated of how great it is.

Stipulations like catchweights and rehydration clauses were often at beginning to reduce risk, even bringing up fighters like Mayweather, Khan and Charlo. Prize fighters like Mayweather Jr himself and Gervonta Davis maneuver their careers like that as well.

His celebrity status and connections is what is allowing him to retain his spot in the P4P rankings along with him being able to ignore mandatories by the four professional boxing organizations. He has profitable fights in PPVs even without a standard great opponent to pull it off, there is a reason PBC and DAZN has been cooperating for his fights. There is a reason why fighters like JMM who were rarely in the position to be the A-side don't like how he maneuvers his career, as he himself didn't get major opportunities until he was in his early thirties nor did he apply anti-risks.

Realistically he should not had been in the P4P for years, and should had been strapped multiple times as he should had fought mandatories like Benavidez. But professional boxing benefits financially by backing him, so he isn't exactly treated like an reat post athlete that should follow the rules of the sport, at least compared to the vast majority of the other fighters. Gervonta Davis is also treated this way, though he hasn't fought good lightweights without conditions outside of Pedraza and Frank Martin.
    Great post JC
I knew you had it in you
Your still a schizo but good post

Then fight bivol/Beterbiev winner for undisputed.

it's simple. Canelo don't want tough fights

    So
Who is the p4p king ?

Don't anyone say Usyk or The "Monster"

    HW's shouldn't qualify
99% of p4pers fight at mult divs

The "Moinster" is doing his "cleaning out the garbage" tour

P4p is based on who is the best fighter right now if size wasn’t a factor. With that being said, Canelo is not top 10 in the world at the moment. No matter how much that hurts his fan girls.

    False.

His legacy is stained by building his resume by beating big name fighter who were past their prime. I think his best prime win is Caleb Plant.

He is still a heck of a fighter, but an overly inflated resume when you dont look into it.
