Does Canelo not have the best resume in boxing right now and is still willing to deliver? I mean, with both combined I’m sure it will elevate the sport! But goddamn it seems like you can’t satisfy boxing fans, always pessimistic when we don’t even have the details! As a hardcore I want Crawford first at 168, Beterbiev in September for undisputed at175, then the Benavidez smoke! Win or lose after get that rematch with Bivol at 175.
You’re right, Turki has delivered. You’re right, Canelo does have the best current resume in boxing buttttt, that resume that people praise is mainly from fights that happened last decade (before 2020) and those fights were mainly against big names that were 35-40 years old. Since the Bivol loss, Canelo has played it extremely safe. People assumed that when he signed a 3 fight deal with PBC, one of the 3 would be against benavdiez. Even Canelo’s biggest fans swore that we all needed to be patient and the last fight would be against benavdiez. Instead it was against Berlanga. Which was preceded by fights with a C level munguia, an inactive junior middle weight charlo, a C level Ryder, a 40 year old ggg. So don’t blame fans for being skeptical. Regardless of who is running the show, Canelo has shown that he won’t allow himself to be dictated into fights that he deems to be too risky.

Hopefully the 4 fight deal includes the following match ups (given all the HYPE)...

      Crawford
      Bivol rematch
      Benavidez

No surprise that Canelo went this route I guess.

They don't say no to even more money. He has paid his dues though, Canelo.

Perhaps a Benavidez fight, even if it maybe the fight atmosphere in Saudi is not always the best.

It's never about fighters or their fans.
          Was referring to "higher interests"....

An announcement without the possible lineup. Hard to get excited over this. Next thing you know he is fight Jake Paul at 190, some mma fighter and a Crawford fight that only Bud has been asking for.

If Benavidez is not included in the deal it has no appeal for me. Circus fights and money grabs really don't appeal to me but the masses will flock in.

Bud's not wasting time with Eubank fight. He can get better work in with quality sparring.

                    It's Surace in May
                    Crawford in Septmeber.
                    Eubank Jr after that
4th fight is TBD, but Bivol is being talked about.

Canelo is too small for 175, but if he's going to fight at that weight again he should let Bivol, Beterbiev, and Benevidez fight each other and take the one who comes out on top. Personally, I think Bivol is the best of those 3, but they're all pretty close.

Crawford vs Canelo in May (Trash Fight).
Then Canelo vs Benavidez in September.
