Good match up. Martin was ahead on the cards vs Luis Ortiz until he got caught and knocked out. He took the Jared Anderson fight on short notice, only 1 week prep but he was still competitive all night and rocked Anderson in the final round. Martin probably beats McKean so it's a step up in opponent for Itauma too

Pity Moses won't get the chance to fight for the traditional English, British, Commonwealth & European title's!!........

I think Joyce would be too soon. Moses moves fast, but even if Joyce is slow, he's a wall and does have power. And I think Joyce beats Martin.

Off the top of my head Martin seems like a good step.

A good fight for Itauma. Martin is old and washed up, but he can punch.

Why not? Martin is almost a decade past being mediocre.

I don’t doubt that fish eyes has no problem with Martin because he doesn’t pose any kind of threat
You know MulaKO... Ill take it. For this day and age? It would not be a bad step. Its better than what they usually do: Get some Eurobum that the Gimp tells us is phenominal,, like Wach, they literally haul the guy out of the closet, put a pair of gloves on him and watch him fall asleep around the 4thround.

"Hey is this the Polish home for old pugilists?" "Why yes!" "|Can you have Mariusz come down please?" "Why no sir, he is in his closet." "Okay... get the troops, get the gloves, he is going to be even heavier! shiat!!!" "We can take him right to the ringgggg ufff!, damn he got big, can he step anymore?"

Get what you mean but has Martin got anything left in the tank ???
I just thought he looked horrible vs Anderson

I mean the way there hyping the kid up I don't think Joyce would be a step to far. I think Joyce has got older and even slower than he was and I don't think hes the wall he once was either. I think that's been cracked since the Zhang fights and now he's getting hurt and put over by chisora who himself is a gatekeeper at heavyweight. But I agree Martin is a good step and the right step and if he puts him over in a couple rounds then i think he's ready for a Joyce or a Whyte afterwards

Martin was never any good. he had a punch, some size and staying power allowing him to have some success in a weak division. He was no worse than Wallin and the the rest of the gang... Parker and Dubois learned a few things and got better. Dubois did it taking tough fights. Parker had to learn how to move more deliberately in the ring, and when to sit down on his shots. These two have emerged... A guy like Martin by comparison peaked and went down... I think of the 3 circle diagram: A ven? At the point where Ortiz was fighting, the part where the 3 circles overlapped would have Martin, Dubois and Parker among others... From that time Parker and Dubois went up, Martin went down...

Anderson has a good enough jab and power to get past most of the division. he would be a tough fight for moat except Fury and Usyk. Bakole is just an elite talent at this point. He would be a really tough fight for Usyk, I believe he would be... There are stories about what he did to Dubois in sparring! I don't usually look at these but they do have meaning sometimes.

Another fighter like Martin would be the stiff Croat that Z loves so much... Joyce is another one... all for different reasons but the same trajectory. Only some rise...

DDD and Parker are levels higher imo from the Anderson’s of the world
Martin can fight and has power but not sure what’s left in that tank
Just want Moses to get a guy to challenge him somewhat
