I just watched it earlier on slo mo. The same case can be made for both. Morrell was blocking alot of shots too but Benavidez throws so fast and hard it looks like they land.
I dont think Morrell could WHIP Canelo, but I could see him winning just due to the size and youth. Plus Canelo doesn't have the offensive activity like Benavidez. It's a very bad style matchup.

Morell busted him up pretty good. And the quick turn around suits Canelo better aswell. Similar to the Kovalev quick turnaround years back. All that said, this is a great fight. Can't wait till May!!!

Reports so far are suggesting that Jake Paul is more likely for May... I doubt he ever fights Benavidez.
