Comments Thread For: David Benavidez wouldn?t be surprised if Terence Crawford defeats Canelo Alvarez

David Benavidez never got to fight Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez when both were still at super middleweight, when Benavidez was both the mandatory challenger and the de facto top remaining contender for Alvarez?s championship.

He definitely has both the skill and will in order to do so. The question is whether or not he has the physical ability in order to do so.

However, I have but one concern and that is will there be any random drug testing for this fight. If not then Crawford won't stand a chance.

The reason why I say that is because Canelo has not been caught or randomly tested for doping for the past seven years. I can't prove it but I have a strong suspicion that he is still doping and has never quit.

I'll give TC a solid 35% chances of beating Canelo realistically speaking. Bud could close that gap even shorter. Its going to be an interesting scrap indeed.

Bena is also correct on his fight with Alvarez not being dead at all, it could only get bigger and badder as long as they both keep active and winning.

Khan was having some success against, so Crawford is gonna beat him.

Why did you use Khan as an example instead of Lara who went the distance?

Bud beats Canelo easier than Mayweather did and then, he'll announce his retirement during post fight interview, go on to enjoy neighborly visits in Omaha with close friend Warren Buffett. Coffee and dinners will be frequent with Mr. Buffett.

This fight is going to be Charlo all over again. Crawford will not actively fight if he thinks he is going to get hit. Crawford is a hell of a boxer and has to stay on his left hand stance since Canelo has difficulty with that stance.
