This Shieids girl calls herself the “gwoat”, her style of fighting is crap, she has zero power, she struggled to drop a girl with zero head movement, and no pizazz to her boxing skill.

Last nights fights were a disservice to women boxing overall and imo did more hurt than anything. Gwoat. Yea sure
How are the almonds these days?

Dude you don’t know **** about boxing. I’ve been teaching pro’s for 16 years and based on the eye test Katie is on another level to shields. And let’s not even get into resumes because shields is MAYBE #3 amongst active fighters, and that’s being generous. You’re delusional, biased, or don’t understand the sport. My guess is your all 3 of those things.

Look man, overall women just suck at fighting with a few rarities. The divisions have 3 dozen fighters at most in them, a thin talent pool. They generally have a disposition towards self preservation which is why they live longer.

She's one of the ones who doesn't suck & there are more & more women getting better everyday as the talent pool increases, as there are a lot more women now than there were 10 years ago, who could legitimately fight.

We're comparing her to other women, not men.

Fair enough, we have to have reasonable standards and she is the best of the best, good timing, speed, gas tank. I noticed though she looks sharper in sparring than in real fights. Maybe she gets overwhelmed by the moment getting sloppy when her emotions get the best of her.

I doubt though the talent pool will ever be that big in women's combat sports because of their innate disposition. Fighting as a career just isn't appealing to most women even if they have the talent.
