I'm not impressed with this "historic achievement" given the absolute lack of depth in women's boxing. Especially in the upper weight divisions, title belts are barely more than participation awards. But I do appreciate the work Shields is putting in to make women's boxing more and more relevant. Maybe some day, it will be a real sport worthy of respect. I do hope so. But that day is not now. There's fewer women from middleweight to heavyweight than in any ONE of the lower divisions. And there's more competition for a men's domestic belt in virtually any division than there is across all of women's boxing. Is women's boxing better than it was 25 years ago? Yes, IMO. But it still requires context. I even follow women's boxing, but to claim that getting undisputed when there was only 1 belt holder before she entered the division, and only 17 competitors including her, is some sort of achievement, is simp behavior. There's more competition for a parking spot at Costco.

Did you see her opponent last night. Frankenstein had better head movement. The talent pool in the upper weight division is non existent. Dude that Frankenstein chick was 5-0 and 42 years old and was a champ. What a joke. This Shieids girl calls herself the “gwoat”, her style of fighting is crap, she has zero power, she struggled to drop a girl with zero head movement, and no pizazz to her boxing skill.

Last nights fights were a disservice to women boxing overall and imo did more hurt than anything. Gwoat. Yea sure

“Naysayers”? You mean people speaking facts? Also, how is she undisputed when you said she was WBC and tonight won the WBO and IBF? Where’s the WBA title? Look through her record, you’ll find nothing but novices and hype jobs. She’s won around 9-10 vacant titles as well. GWOAT isn’t a title that should exist as there hasn’t been any women deserving of being called great, which is a term thrown around these days. And if any should have that term used about them, it would be Katie Taylor cos she’s actually fought some decent fighters in her career.

Shields is miles ahead of Katie Taylor in terms of skill and ring IQ. It's the eye test. If you can't see that, then I can't respect your opinions on boxing.
