Judging by this article and some of the comments lot mofos here get too easily impressed and others seem have a weird obsession bringing up Canelos name at every chance they get lol. Benavidez is now a LHW contender. Time to move tf on.

I think Morrell was a tougher match up for Benavidez than both beterbiev and bivol imo. Beterbiev is old and Bivol is not as durable or powerful as Morrell.

There were times were i thought bivol was on the verge of getting Artur out of there.

Its ok to acknowledge that Artur at 40 years old and numerous surgeries is not the same fighter. Its no way he survives DB or Morrell.

Yesterday, he was strong and accurate and his defense was excellent, but at the same time Morrell showed us that Benavidez is no monster and that he can be hurt when the punches land cleanly. I would love to watch Benavidez vs Beterbiev - it would be an absolute war for as long as it lasted.

This is how conversations and/or debates are had. There are a ton of people here still moving goalposts to discredit Benny.
I will do the same in regards to Boots. Like I said, 2025 is his year to step it up.

When you put an IF and a “healthy” caveat at the start of your sentence, it means you just have a dislike of the guy.
Would you say Canelo was acclaimed by all at 28 years old?

Wow an actual mature and reasonable take from you for once. I have been saying for ages that Benavidez's defense is underrated and far more crafty than you think. Morrell still impressed me, I think he can be a p4p fighter one day, he showed he a real dog and can take as good as he gets, he just needs more experience. He fought a monster at the same stage most fighters are still fighting journeymen so he did well.

Artur lives a clean life and is a total gym rat
Yes he’s 40 years old but I find it hard to think that it will be overnight

How dear people mention Beterbiev without mentioning what it would look against a younger fresher Bivol who really only lost to Beterbiev by the judges not all viewers. I was one that thought it could have been a draw or win for Bivol closely.

Agreed 100%...a very very close fight that I thought was a draw, and I expect another very, very close fight and wouldn't be surprised if Bivol wins by SD.
