Benavidez is gonna smoke Morrell, y'all. I like Morrell and think he's a really good, strong boxer. But, he doesn't have the experience and tools yet to handle the style of Benavidez, who is gonna out-quick and out-work Morrell with angles and punches in bunches. Morrell's processing is too slow, as evidenced in his last fight against Hot Rod. Though they fight very differently (especially Benavidez), this style match-up reminds me of Bud vs Spence. Like Bud, Benavidez is faster, more athletic, slicker, and unpredictable where, like Spence, Morrell is slower, more basic, more stationary, and sticks to fundamentals. And that will be the difference in the fight. Props to both young men for getting this fight on.
